Biography:

I'm doing a PhD in psychology and my research is on methods for inducing lucid dreams. Lucid dreaming of course has many potential applications in many areas of psychology (e.g. clinical psychology, sports psychology, the study of sleep etc). However, the main obstacle to scientific research into these applications is that lucid dreams are difficult to induce in the first place. I have made it my full time job to try and solve this problem! Over the next three years I will be conducting several studies comparing different lucid dreaming techniques, with a focus on techniques that are relatively user-friendly. I'm also interested in drugs / supplements that could be used to support such techniques.
