My first SUCCESSFUL attempt at Lucid Dreaming!

by Dekaron on 01-21-2012 at 12:21 AM
Well, as any of my readers might already know, I don't really have lucid dreams. My dreams are more like that of memory fragments that are very realistic, and slightly terrifying at times.
My point is this: A week or two a friend of mine suggested that I try lucid dreaming to counteract some haunting nightmares I'd been having. I did some research on the subject of dreaming lucidly and found out the basic beginner's trick to knowing when you're in a lucid dream.
I had kind of gotten the idea from Inception, but regardless, it works ALMOST every time.
People would often say for beginners to think of a bright, easily recognizable object. After seeing that object appear you would know you're now in a lucid dream. At first I tried to think of something like, a neon green dodge ball, or fiery puppy, but nothing seemed to work, but then I watched Inception. They used small inanimate objects like a chess piece or a small top, well I then tried that the following night, and it worked!
I'm not going to say what the object (because it's very personal and I don't think the objects original bearer would appreciate me just telling everyone on the internet what object kept us such good friends).
Once I was lucid, I think it would be safe to say that all hell broke loose in my subconscious mind. At first I just got out of bed like i had woken up in the middle of the night. It was so real I was afraid I was actually awake! To safely test my theory out, I punched my brother in the face. Instead of waking up, his entire head was dismembered and the things inside it spread all over the wall.
I felt so amazing, so I shot a blast of fire at the wall and flew out after my large, white Angel wings had sprouted from my back.
I was drawn to my school for some reason, so I smashed a whole in the ceiling and landed in the cafeteria. It was dark except for a few candles here and there. In the middle of the room was one of my good friends, uh, Rayne. Before I continue I should mention that she is a very well behaved teenage girl, who would never do anything bad past... okay, at the moment I can't think of anything bad she would do, but anyways...
She was laying in the middle of the room with a syringe in her arm. I rush over to her and hold her up due to the fact that she didn't eve look like she was breathing. I pick her up and she begins laughing like a maniac.
She holds up another syringe in my face. "Dude," she says tiredly. "You should... totally, try this stuff!"
'What the hell is it?!" I asked concernedly.
    "HEROINE!!"
Then I realized I was in a dream and I pulled a Daedric Dagger out of nowhere and stabbed my leg. The next thing I know I wake up screaming, because I was pinched my leg so hard that I started to ooze blood.
Anyways, that was my first successful attempt at lucid dreaming. Hopefully in the future I will try to have longer and more intense dreams. I'll also being doing some research in shared dreams and will attempt one of those.

    Haunting Dreams (Continued)

by Dekaron on 01-07-2012 at 12:20 AM
I've been having these awful nightmares for the last two weeks or so and they went from bad to worse. At first it was just language like symbol pattern that clouded my subconscious like a thick fog. On the other side were terrifying images of demons attacking and feeding on my closest of friends.
I also saw a girl I knew that killed herself five years ago for unknown reasons. In the nightmare I saw her, only she looked like she had still been aging as thought she hadn't died. She has blood around her mouth and pooling from her eyes. She kept saying something in a possessed voice. Something that sounded like a warning.
    That was a week ago...
Since then I've been seeing her sitting or standing just at the corner of my vision. Just after I would look to where she was, she would disappear. The moment I lost sight of her I would get an intense migraine and see the symbols and her her voice is that haunting voice.
Just yesterday I glanced at my desk chair and thought I saw someone sitting in it. When I looked again I saw Her. She was shivering and held my knife that was sitting next to my bed. She unsheathed it and just as I was forming the words "Don't do it!" she slices a large cut in her neck.
Then I heard her voice, this time in English as she vanishes. Her voice sounds like a sweet whisper in my ears. "Don't stop the fight. Just keep your friends few and close. Be prepared for the coming year."
Just after the voice stopped I felt a searing pain in my head and I blacked out for about two hours.
I think I know what she's talking about "be prepared." I'm not sure I should post what I think she means, but I will be doing some research of my own. That might include... let's just say it ain't gonna be pretty if my theory IS correct. I pray to God that I'm dead wrong. Time will tell.

    Haunting nightmares

by Dekaron on 12-30-2011 at 12:41 AM
Terrifying. Disturbing. Erie. These words describe the nightmares I've been having over the last month or so. Some times I see it when I'm awake.
These... images keep tearing at my sanity. It's like a sickness, the longer I have it, the worse it gets. I see shapes, patterns, like some kind of language clouding my vision like thick fog. On the other side of the static-y shapes are flashes of images, like a memory fragment, though, it's past the point of terrifying.
Monsters, no, demons. Demons that possess the bodies of the dead and transform and consume the living.
My movement is paralyzed. I try to run, but don't have to because all the demons do is surround me as to keep me from running.
The next thing I know, I see a good friend of mine approach me. This doesn't sound bad, but they died about five years ago. But they look like they didn't stop aging.
She killed herself via wrist slice, but she's got dried blood around her mouth and down her cheeks like she cried blood.
She grabs my throat and an iron grip begins choking me. As her grip begins to tighten I see this pillar thing that's in kind of a spiral formation that speaks to me from the souls of thousands of deceased.
By now I awake, sweating profusely and panting heavily. The rest of the night is one spent without sleep.
When I say I see the nightmare while I'm awake I see her and the pattern things. When I see them I get an enormous migraine in every inch of head. I'm seriously going to seek therapy if this continues to get worse.

    Future Sight?

by Dekaron on 12-10-2011 at 10:27 PM
I've been having a weird dream where I keep seeing these people I've never seen before. I can't remember much, but i do know that I talk to them like old friends. At first, a few weeks ago, I didn't pay any mind to it, but then the most expected thing happened: I met them! I think this might just mean I can read small parts and a little into the future! I doubt it though. Anyways, the reason I don't post a dream everyday is due the fact I can't hardly remember them all! Until next time!!

I need feed back on this matter!

by Dekaron on 12-03-2011 at 07:04 PM
I'm not sure whether this thing that happens to me is a gift, or just my imagination, but either way I need to see if it sounds believable or not.
I sometimes have these dreams-no- visions, that some times depict future memories. If you read my last post you'll understand what I might be rambling on about.
I never see anything major, just like a replay of something that happened to me only in the future. It's never very distant, only a week to a week and a half, but never the less, accurate to everything in the dream.
At first I though I was going insane, but then a few months ago something else began to happen. I would get these sudden migraines in small areas of my head. At first, I thought it was for no reason or a side effect of listening to my headphones loudly, but then I began to notice something. I noticed that when I got a migraine I would start seeing everything from the dream, except it was happening in real life!
I don't really see this as being deemed "Psychic" but it's does seem abnormal. In any event, I will try to look into this more and see what an official title would be for this "ability."
Until then I'll keep posting my dreams!
