Biography:

I first started looking into lucid dreaming recently, due to the fact that when I was younger (around ten years of age) I had two lucid dreams. The fact that I knew I was dreaming excited me the first time and I awoke fairly quickly. This gave me belief that I possessed a special power to control dreams. So every night after that I would concentrate on becoming awake within my dreams. This was accomplished on one occasion when I noticed I was dreaming and then seeked to find something cool to do. It took heavy concentraion to stay in the dream and I felt good that I was able to stay in it for such a long time ( which was only about a minute). It wasn't till only recently in the past month or so that I discovered that this act was called Lucid Dreaming. I looked it up and began journaling for the past month. I already have been able to remember multiple dreams each night before I discovered lucid dreaming and journaling. But writing them down is more efficient and productive towards my dream awareness. I have now had around 7 lucid dreams through out my life. Three of them have been during the practice of journaling and All Day Awareness. The other four were random and some-what self taught ( Before I started doing research on the topic itself). I can't wait to start posting my dream entries , and showing people that Lucid Dreaming is in all of us. I'm still a begginer and am only a month in. But at this rate I feel that becoming lucid will be natural to me within a couple more months. Good luck to us all. The mind is a powerful and hypnotic thing!
