Night of January 23/24: Crying Child (minor), Driving Father (major)

by blackonmanilla on 01-24-2013 at 07:24 AM
We had guests visiting my father's home, one of which was a young boy. He was begging and pleading with me for me to drive him back home. Then I remember his mother talking about taking him out to golf.

    ---

I remember my father playing with a lot of electronics at a gas station and someone commenting that it was cool that he was watching TV among other things at the same time. I was in the passenger seat a car while my father drove. We were traveling along what appeared to be a rocky and mountainous area. We passed by a 20-something biker that was doing tricks over the road we were traveling. This was being witnessed by a full bearded fellow who looked a little older. My father decided to turn around in order to tell him to stop. We passed by the bearded fellow but didn't find the biker. The sun must've been setting, because it was dark while my father inched down the deserted road a little at a time. I was very uneasy during this and felt like it was a waste of time. And then something strange happened that forced us to get out of the car. At first I thought that one of the wheels ended up off the road, but after looking at what happened, it looked like my hub cap broke. Somehow, my sister was there suddenly, or she was in the backseat quietly. My father asked me what I wanted to do, because he didn't want me to worry about having a form of transportation. And this is where I realize that this was my car that he was driving. He told me that the repair would be thousands of dollars and I decided it'd probably be best to trade it in. (Dream logic. ) Around this time I woke up.
