    Entry 8 - 26-2-11 - Second Lucid Dream!

by Addax on 03-03-2011 at 05:00 PM
Just like my first lucid dream, this was after a night out... I'm starting to think I can only lucid dream when I'm drunk...

I was lying in bed, on my side. On the other side of the bed I could see a figure forming and I realised I was falling asleep, but my brain was awake. The figure was blurry, but it suddenly turned into my boyfriend. We just lay there for a moment before I woke up and he disappeared.

I realised I'd just had my first WILD experience, so I didn't move until my body fell asleep again. He appeared again, next to me. I began to lose vision as things became blurry. I remembered a technique I've seen in Amity's blog where she demands clarity and it happens. So I said out loud, "I demand clarity" and everything became perfectly clear again.
I rolled over and saw Amity. Everything looked so real, I began to believe it was reality. Amity reached over and held my hands. She pushed my left index finger through my right hand to prove I was dreaming. I asked her what I should do now that I'm finally lucid (as we've been discussing lucid dreaming for nearly a year). She said, "It's time to mess with reality." She held my little finger and bent it right back, breaking it. She giggled as my face screwed up, waiting for the pain that never came. I did the same to the rest of my fingers on my left hand. Then decided to pull my left index finger right off. It detached like rubber, stretching and snapping back after it broke off.
    Then I woke up.

    Entry 7 - 12/2/11 - First Lucid Dream!

by Addax on 02-14-2011 at 10:10 PM
So I finally had my first lucid dream... I think. It's sort of the same situation as my false awakening, as I'm unsure if it actually happend the way it's supposed to happen.

I was running down the street, away from my friend, travelling south. We were just playing a game, but I as outrunning her. I made it al the way to the end of a very long street and decided to go back. But I didn't want her to see that I was making my way back so I decided I would run East, then North, the West and go in a big square to get back. The idea was to get back before she does so that I can surprise her.

I turned east and ran until the next block, then turned north. I found myself in a forest. The sign said 'Elephant Forest'.
I was wondering why it was called Elephant Forest when I saw a wall of trees in front of me. It looked like the forest just stopped and gave way to air not too far ahead. There was a sort of doorway of trees that looked out of place ahead of me. They were all lined up too close together to be accidental.
I walked between them and into the doorway they made. I stopped suddenly, realising that after the doorway was a huge drop. I was standing on the top of a masive cliff and down below I could see the forest continued.
I had an amazing view of the whole landscape and to the horizon. In the forset below, there were two different kinds of trees. Trees with dark green leaves and trees with light green leaves. Most of the trees were dark, but the ones that were light were places perfectly to make the shape of an elephant.

I backed away from the edge and turned around. It was becoming dark and I was tired from running. I decided I was probably going to fall asleep.

This is when I entered the second dream.
I woke up in the back of a car. There were two DCs in front and one to my left. I recognised the one ot my left, but can no longer recal who they were. For whatever reason, I decided to try my reality check and was able to push my left index finger through my right palm. It felt very strange to be doing that. I turned to the person I knew and asked, 'Is my friend chasing me still?'
    'Yes' He replied.
    'Is this a dream?'
    'Yes'.

(What I did not realise at the time was that I was in two dreams. I thought the forest was reality).

I sat in the back of the car and wondered what I should do now that I'm lucid for the first time. A voice came from behind me. A small, high-pitched voice, right at the back of my head. I turned around and found a small panel of the car seat to be removed. Inside looked like a mini version of an aeroplanes cockpit, maybe ust a little more futuristic. The voice I heard would have come from a person small enough to fit in the mini compartment, but there was no one inside. This distraction made me lose lucidity and I felt like I was watching myself, trapped behind glass, unable to control anything.
The person next to me held both my hands. He held up my right palm and pushed my left index finger through it. Once again, I realised it was a dream and became lucid, thanks to this DC.

I was not lucid for very long before I woke up on the forest floor. I was convinced that was reality since I was just lucid in a dream (I never thought my first lucid dream would be inside another dream). I woke up as soon as I stood up.

    Entry 6 - 10/2/11

by Addax on 02-14-2011 at 09:37 PM
I woke up around 3am and remembered parts of three seperate dreams from that night. I wrote them down in my drowsy state and can't quite recall the squiggles I put on the page. This is what I can translate:

A girl I work with owns a dragon (apparently this is common knowledge).

Later, while giving birth and my colleague goes away for a long time. She is very upset, so I house sit for her and run her errands, etc. She leaves some money behind.
She has had the dragon and it's babies encased in bronze.

Eventually, the dragon wakes up and Anne comes back. We all celebrate.

Afterwards, Anne looks for the money she left behind and acuses me of stealing it when she can't find it. I let her think I did for a moment before I show her what I bought her. I don't know what it is, but I bought it as a present (presumably with her money).

I am very excited to play with the dragon.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm at a school disco and need to charge my phone. I plug it into the main computer system, off of which the music and music videos are playing. The contents of my phone are now shown on the large screens for everyone to see. In my phone history, they find a porn site and I am very embarrassed. No one yet knows it's my phone but I decide to sit in the corner and wait as they'll soon find out.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Someone at work points out a hickie/love bite on my neck and I laugh, telling them I'm surprised they're the only one to notice it.

I am watching a family friend play a video game on the TV. He is being selfish and not letting me play. He is playing really well and it looks like fun.
Finally, when it's my turn, he doesn't let me continue onto the new levels but instead, I have to replay the levels he already did.
I pick up the controller, which was a large, plush pig with playstation-type controls on it's belly.
The character on the TV looks like Conan the Barbarian and fights with his hands.
I try to control him like my friend did, but for me, the character is slow. He is doing everything in slow motion and I cannot pass the first part of the level.

    Entry 4 - 7/2/11 - possible false awakening

by Addax on 02-09-2011 at 07:52 PM
I can't remember any dreams from last night. But ther was a moment where I woke up and felt strange. I can't explain how I felt... Maybe like I was floating. Anyhow, I knew something was different. I looked at my right hand. In my dazed state, at first glance, I had six fingers. I was so terrified and my heart started beating really hard. I felt like someone was watching me, like someone was lurking in the dark. I decided to focus as hard as I can and recount. I blinked and counted five fingers.
I don't know if I was dreaming or if I saw an extra finger because my eyes were blurry.
