      3rd Lucid (unfortunately very short)

Ok... so I have been trying DEILD lately (no success), but last night i needed all the sleep i could get so I didn't do autosuggestion. I woke up early this morning and new it was too early so I went back to sleep (without moving). I felt my self going into a dream and started to think about it so immediately woke up (still didn't move). I really had no intention of DEILDing at this time though (I have no idea why) so I just told myself to let my subconscious take over and it was kind of a long process but I could feel myself going to sleep. BAM !!! I was in a dream. It was very unstable and I thought to myself "Kewl, I'm not really losing any sleep in a dream"... so I rubbed my hands together and my viewpoint went from 3rd person to 1st person (well it's a start ). I felt like it was stable enough so i tried to remember the first thing I was going to do in a LD and I could not for the life of me remember. While trying to remember, it was waking my brain up and I started to feel my real life body. I started saying "INCREASE LUCIDITY NOW!!!" but as I started saying it, I started saying it in RL . Of course I woke up and guess the first thing I thought when I woke up... "OH YEAH! I was going to do the tasks of the month." I was still a little groggy so I still thought I could try to do them in RL. That didn't last very long .

Oh, the "I woke up and decided to fall back to sleep method" (yes, it's called WBTB, but that's what I call it, because I don't MEAN to do it). That's how I get lots of my lucids!

Well that's cool that at least you thought through what you wanted to do, even if you weren't sucessful . I have issues with doing that...usually, well, lately, I just start doing something right away without thinking. I get kinda mad at myself when I awake because I REALLY didn't want to do what I did. I have told myself lately that the next time I will think it through, so in my last LD, yesturday morning, I did . Kinda odd that I can do so much, yet I often don't remember to do that.

That's odd you started to talk in your dream! Maybe you weren't sure how to "talk" quite correctly in your dream...IDK . I have NO experience with THAT!

Ending off topic, I like your smiley useage! I use a lot of smilies in my DJ. In one entry in my old journal on here, I had 12 smilies in one fairly short DJ entry .

If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.
