My first lucid experience

Last night I went to bed around 3:30 am and woke up around 6:00 am for school. I have a type of insomnia where I just have no drive to sleep and can't get my self to lie in my bed regardless how tired I am. So today in goverment class I decided to take a nap because I already knew what we were talking about. I lie down and slowly drift off to sleep over the sounds of my teacher talking. All of a sudden i'm in my old neighborhood in wisconsin. I'm with my friend Joel and his brother Micheal. Were sitting around his driveway drawing with chalk. The pictures are removable and were eating them and throwing them at each other. I have no idea what they tasted like but for some reason I think they would have tasted like chocolate cake with chocolate icecream on top. I look at Micheal... to me none of this makes sense. But then I almost let the dream retake over and just keep going with the flow. I think to my self what harm will it be just looking at my hands once. So I look down fully expecting them to be completly normal but their not! My fingers were allll messed up and had multiple spots with random fingers popping out. Also some of them were connected. I felt this huge surge of energy flow through me! Like i've accomplished my wildest dreams. It was an amazing rush and got me wayyy to excited. In the middle of the dream picture a white dimond appeared. It was as if some one was cutting a snowflake into my dream picture. I could hear my teacher talking again but i was still half asleep. I knew I lost lucidity and failed to DEILD even though i did everything right. My teachers voice was distracting me but im still very happy about it! Let me know what you guys think! -Zerk
