Thread: Lucid Dream During Nap At College (question inside)

Hey All

I recently went back to school and am going for Electrical Linemen. 16 week course, 8 hours a day M-Thursday. ARGH!

Anyways, we had like a 2 hour break between classes and I was tired as hell so I decided to go lay down on the couch in the library.

I ended up laying down with about an hour left of my break.. I just closed my eyes and I started to see HI after a few minutes... The next thing I knew I was standing in my bedroom at home trying to figure out what was going on. I remember feeling this static feeling (like the hairs on your body stand up) and i became really light and felt my dream body floating.. That's when I realized I was dreaming... While this is all going on, I can still hear the voices and noises of the people in the Library...The LD wasn't much, I tried to call for my DG Anna (and there was a female voice that said "Yes?") and I asked for whomever it was to come here so I can see who it was.. Well I woke up before that!

My question is, was this a WILD? I know the basics of It, but the reason why I ask is because everybody says that it takes a while for a WILD to happen, when this happened in a matter of minutes???

Ahhh you sound exactly like me. I swear I've made this same thread/post a hundred times now (several years back).

I call them unintentional WILDs. Keeps it simple.

I wrote about these hundreds of times on the forum. If you want more info...I'll go look up some old threads for you.

Just a question, are you sure the "Yes?" you heard wasn't just a voice in the library?

well everyone was fairly quiet, pretty much no talking--i mean its a library, most of the people in there were just studying their books to themselves... it has happened to me before when I call out to her, just haven't had the time to see who is communicating back at me lol

Were you sleep deprived? If I fell into a lucid dream in a public place I'd be terrified to say anything weird in case I spoke in my sleep!

wasn't sleep deprived, just really freaking tired.. I have to get up at 5:30 in the morning everyday except for Wednesday, so I can leave the house by 6:30 drive to the school which is an hour a way, and be there by 8 when class starts! lol

I am just curious if it was a WILD or not? but despite that, i had a LD! HECK YES! haha
