Thread: 'FAIL' lucid dream

I was in an unknown bedroom and I did a reality check on my handphone. I became lucid. I went out of the bedroom and walked down the stairs. At the same time, I tried to call the elf (refer to http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ight=taliskuji) on the handphone with the number I planned, 771111771111. But it seemed to be someone else instead. It was probably due to the number I dialled not totally correct. As in, I pressed the 1 and/or 7s too many or too little times.

I spinned in the dream, intending to prolong it despite that I did not see the dream fading. I landed in a place outside the bedroom (on some platform in my country). Then I woke up.

Anyway, does the number-dialling method works if I want to meet a certain character? Or is it better to use the dream-prolonging spinning technique to meet her?

This is my 18th lucid dream btw.

It depends what works best for you. Personally I feel comfortable just expecting to see someone when I turn a corner. Spinning technique however must be easier, but less credible, personally I've never used it for that purpose. As far the number dialling method is concerned, couldn't you find an easier number? Too many 1s make it even in real life to distinguish among them let alone dreams that numbers change as fast as the speed of light .

The best method is trial-error. You have to find yourself what works best for you. Use a method that makes you feel comfortable - easier to persuade your subconscious to appear the character. Good luck
