      Well, doesn't that suck!

I haven't had a lucid dream in awhile. I think mainly because of school, and being so tired.. I'm way too deep of a sleep to even recall my dreams.

But, I suddenly became interested in it again, and wanted to try it out. I'm trying the technique of asking myself "Am I dreaming?" in my wakening life, and checking the clock.

So, I kept having dreams, and forgetting to check the clock. Finally, I have a dream, and I just pause "Wait, I'm dreaming." And I check the clock, which changes. So I spun around for good measure, to make sure I stayed alseep...and then decided to see if I could manipulate things, and try to make my father disappear ((who I was having a fight with in the dream)), so I say "Poof, you're gone!"...he laughed at me! LOL! The one dream I'm lucid in, I can't even manipulate anything ((which is my goal, intentionally..b/c I'm use to lucid dreams..nothing new, it's manipulating them that I'm interested in.))

Eh, better luck next time. I should stop trying so hard anyways. Maybe scrap the whole 'Am I dreaming?' technique altogether, since I seem to be successful without even trying in the past.

One thing I know is that to make things-persons appear or disappear you have to look away and look back. By the way, welcome.

I always wake up when I spin... I think it's because I close my eyes each time though...

I never tried spinning before, until I read in a book that it'll help you stay asleep. I thought it was weird, because I always felt like doing *too* much action was what was going to wake me up. It didn't work too well anyways. I woke up shortly after that.

Prophetian, thanks for the tip. I never tried that before. I just kinda stare and wait for someone to change, or disappear. I'll take note of that..makes sense, thanks

No prob Dani, I forgot to mention though.. you also have to expect for the change, I mean I you don't want someone there, look away, think/wish them gone and they will very likely be gone when you look again. Another cool trick I learned in this forum is to try to push your finger through your palm, if it goes through you are dreaming.

I've been successful into changing someone into someone else more desirable before, lol. It's definitely something that needs to be concentrated on though. I just need to relax a little.

Pushing the finger through the palm, huh? In the past, before I even read anything about Lucid dreaming..I never really tested to see if I was dreaming, I just knew. Now, like last night.. when it came to me that I was dreaming, a clock appeared that I was able to check. It's a matter of remembering though, which I proved last night after 5 dreams..even one at which I looked at a watch, and it didn't occurr to me to check it if it changed, lol..I'm not too good at that.

I'm wondering if maybe I threw off my whole system now, by trying to force it so much. But yes, I'm looking forward to experimenting.

Palm of your hand... sorry. Good luck with the experimenting, I am also looking forward to my next lucid dream. I know it sounds dorky, but next time I am gonna turn into a Super Saiya-jin. I did once, but it wasn't a lucid dream.
