Thread: Ah! Frustration

I just had my first lucid dream and it was awesome BUT I couldn't stay lucid, as soon as I realied I was dreaming I woke up...and couldn't go back to sleep not matter how hard I tried...

Okay, this reponse comes from an enthusiastic newbie who's read everything he can lay his hands on in a matter of days regarding LD, rather than an experienced LDer.

If you're losing your dream, rub your hands together, or focus on an object's details, or spin round fast in the style of a young child trying to get giddy (all have the effect of stimulating your 'dream body'.)

If you are waking up, stay still, and don't open your eyes - you may be able to get back into the same dream.
