Strange sensation :S
Today I woke up at 5am, did yoga and meditated. At 11am, I decided to try ld. I have never done one before. Thing is, I got an mp3 of 12 minutes to help induce ld, which is great btw. (If anyone has more mp3s available, always appreciating new ones)
Well, as I was listening to it, lying in my bed, the second time, I was extremely calm. I started seeing very faint and abstract lights, and then some really weird thing, like a red background moving towards me with what seemed white stars, still it was not bright at all. It was very strange since I could only see like half of it, only in my left side. Then, my leg kind of vibrated suddenly. I ignored it and recognized it as a sign of ld. (Even though it might not be, I was glad of my concentration). Then the same vibration happened to my arm twice. The vibration kind of lifted my arm and leg. Then that's the last I remember, as I fell asleep.
What was that? Is that normal to LDs?
Thanks :)

Those are hypnagogic hallucinations that happen in the stage between sleep and waking. For some reason meditating before bed increases the odds of you staying aware during that early phase of sleep.
If you're going to be getting those often, you should start a thread describing you HH experiences (and PM me with the link!). That stuff has always fascinated me, but I had to stop meditating before bed because it was getting too freaky.

Lol, haven't had again yet. But thank you :) Will do, if I happen to have more.
