      Scary

Last night something very scary and strange happened. I have gotten good at Lucid dreaming, I do it about 2 times per week on average, sometimes 1 sometimes 3, last night I had an all night lucid state. On one scene, 2 guys came to put my girlfriend and I in danger, so me, realizing it is a dream, went to have a little bit of fun. They wanted to choke me, to which I laughed, and let them go ahead and try. I mean I have had characters attempt to chop off my head unsuccesfully, so no biggie. They started choking me, and it started to hurt, I really felt it on my neck, and couldn't breathe, it was so real. I was rather shocked than scared, but wtf was that?

Are you sure it wasn't just a very vivid dream? If you've ever been choked or had something like that happen before, e.g. put in a headlock, had something heavy on your chest, the brain can really accurately recreate that.

dude, I feel where you're coming from. A few years ago, I had this dream where me and my wife were getting chased, and at the end of the dream, the people shot me. Now, before that, I had realized that I was in a dream but I had not yet learned to control or manipulate it. So continuing with my story, I think "this won't hurt", I let them shoot me, i look at my chest and I see bullet holes and blood. Then after a second, i honestly felt the worst pain I ever have experienced for about 5 seconds, then I saw them shoot my wife then I woke up. I was breathing very deeply and my chest was very tight. that freaked me out completely!!!

Yea it was really freaky, I couldn't believe what had happened.

Since I knew I was dreaming, I instantly tried to wake up, but it took me a while, as I was deeply asleep, I went through about 2 FA's, that actually pissed me off, as I instantly knew they were FA's, I had to start shaking my head real hard, until I found myself shaking my head in real life, and I couldn't stay awake, I felt myself getting sucked back into the dream, until I succesfully switched the position I was sleeping on, and that did it.

But it is so weird, that I felt the pain and all. The brain can be crazy. The thing is, I don't feel so invincible anymore while dreaming, I hope I don't experience the getting shot pain.
