Recently I had a dream in which I passed the perfect oppurtunity to become Lucid. I was definately a pre lucid situation.

I don't remember any of the dream, except on part. First let me explain that I had been doing and still do a reality check that I made up myself. It is the word "dream" written across my hand. It is written in pen. It is always there, and therefore it is deeply embedded in my subconscious that it is written there.

I hadn't ever had a controlled reality check induced lucid dream before, so I wasn't optimistic. Boy was I wrong.

In the dream I recall looking at my hand, which looked normal, and writing the word in pen as I usually do when it fades. However, I wasn't writing "dream".

Whatever I was writing, I began it with a lowercase "t", and it upset me that I didn't capitalize it.

I woke up soon after, and even though this was not a lucid dream, it was a breakthrough in my reality check career.
