I’ve been a lurker here for a while. I’ve always been able to remember two or three dreams a week. For the last few weeks, I had been training myself to remember dreams, and during that time, I’ve been able to remember two to four dreams a night. Well, I am constantly waking up after the dream thinking, "Holy Crap, I WAS dreaming!" I was just accepting whatever was happening around me as reality during the dream, even when the most extraordinary things were occurring around me. Flying, my teeth falling out, my ex-wife still liked me and wanted to be around me, etc.

Well, last night I was sitting in my grandmother's house when she arrived with my grandfather. My grandparents no longer own that home seeing as they had passed about 10 years ago. So I was wondering what I was doing in my grandmother’s house when the reality hit me. "Holy Crap, I AM dreaming!" I was so excited, my heart started pounding, I felt like I was going to wake up. So I immediately initiated a spinning move. Now to my knowledge, I have never spun in a dream, but my spinning special effect was like the transporter effect in the new Star Trek movie with tiny points of light swirling around me. Anyway, the result was that I stayed in the dream. It was so cool. I guess for those of you experienced in LD, I don't have to explain it. I just enjoyed the dream, albeit short and confusing. But I just kept spinning and pushing my tongue into the roof of my mouth every time I felt like I was coming out of it. Now, I do not know who the cute brunette with the beautiful brown eyes and gorgeous smile was that walked past me. I did tell her hi as she passed, something I could probably never do in real life. But she is welcome to visit my dreams again any time.

I was so excited about my first LD, well, first that I am aware of, that I could not fall back to sleep for about two hours.
