      Lightbulb funny dream

LOL, i just woke up from a funny lucid dream. Lasted about 2-2 1/2 minutes. Started off with me upstairs in the kitchen, my aunt was in the kitchen already, i walk in, said something, but then realised my reality was a bit sketchy! I though "OH, this a dream?!" Then the moment i said that, BOOM. The kitchen brightened and it became more vivid, but it started to fade, so i thought about a technique i thought out earlier. Which was:

Look my left hand, move my eyes to my left elbow, to my shoulder, across my chest (witnissing your lower body if you can) to the opposite side, viewing my right shoulder, moving my eyes to the right elbow, to the hand.

The point of this and why i figured it would work if i actually had a dream was because it would bring awareness and structure to my body. And it worked! I then looked behind me and found that a fat guy was there (looked like he was from super bad, that wierd movie), i ran to his face and said i'm dreaming! I then wanted to go outside so i ran to the front door were a dog that my aunt owns usually wants to go outside. For a second i didn't let him out because of habit, but then i remembered that it's a dream and let him out with me. Then several other dogs i owned before came out LOL. I then kinda floated down the street really fast and the left side houses had a bigger lawn that went downhill. Someone woke me up then though.

But ya the reason of this post is the technique i used. It's about as good as your enthusiasm of lucid dreaming. Add it to your arsenal of LD techs.

Nice, I always say to look down at your body while stabilizing a dream and there you go, a great example of it

If that's the case, you should move this post to the Technique thread.

You know what's SO weird about when I become lucid? It's rarely, very rarely that I become L because things are illogical. It's mostly for no reason. Anyone know why/how that is possible? Sometimes I do RC, but not as often as for no reason
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

I become lucid that exact same way. It was my third lucid dream and I was looking at these trees and I suddenly, for no expected reason, I became lucid. This is because we're (you, me, and quite a few other people who become lucid like this) can just feel it. Like our surrondings are totally different. The amibance, you know. The feeling. That's how we become lucid it just feels different. It's hard to explain, even though I have the explantion. I'm just to lazy to put it up

hmm, I think I'm somewhat similar to you guys. While I have only had one lucid, it was accidential and I instantly realized I was lucid. I didn't even want to do an RC, but, I still did one to check and even when the hand RC gave me a sketchy answer(somewhat transparent hands), I still knew that I was dreaming and that I should ignore the result instead of further confirmation
