Most recent, most vivid sleep paralysis

Last night I had the most vivid experience with sleep paralysis/hypnagogic hallucinations I've ever had. Freaked me out to be sure. It went from typical hallucinations as I'm falling asleep to more conscious sleep paralysis. I'm sure it will sound very odd but bear with me.

I woke up from a dream at about 4:30 this morning. As I was falling back asleep, I started to drift into a dream but was still conscious of myself laying in my bed. There was a parental figure present, and it was like I was a child again. In my half dream I asked for 'Louise' becase "she removes the spirits from me" (presumably talking about evil entities in my nightmares and sleep paralysis). Louise was a little girl, probably about 5 or so (possibly how old I was during this dream) and was a sort of spirit herself. After I say this in my dream I wake a little more and glance at my alarm clock. At this point I'm fully conscious of myself laying in my bed in my room on my stomach. Then I feel this body climb up onto my bed and I can't move. I know its Louise so it calms me a little bit because as I rationalized in my previous dream she's there to help me and protect me. I've been reading more about sleep paralysis lately so I am more familiar with these types of hallucinations. Still freaks me out a bit though. She climbs up and lays on my back and though I can't see her yet I can feel the weight on me. During all this I'm hearing stuff I can't quite figure out what it is. I tell her I'm scared and she climbs off the bed and walks to the side of my bed that I'm facing. I can see her face vividly now but its all gray. At this point I'm really freaking out because I'm laying in bed and can't move, but I can see this girl standing there clear as day just devoid of color. She starts laughing, I guess to cheer me up but it freaks me out even more. Then I fully wake up, turn on the light and right it all down.

I stayed up for about half an hour after this, it really was a strange feeling. I don't know why I dreamt of this Louise character or where she came from, I don't even know anyone with that name. It's the first time I've ever seen anything or anyone during this, as usually I just hear them and feel their presence.

That's incredibly vivid. I've heard characters speaking to me during sleep paralysis but I've never seen them. (night terrors being the exception to this but they're different)

yeah, my experiences with sleep paralysis have been seeming to be getting more intense, the more I've learned about it. Before it was always I couldn't move and I could sense a presence. Then I started getting more auditory hallucinations sometimes even hearing entire conversations. Then I one a few weeks ago where it felt like someone dropped an anvil on my head. Now this one, the first time I've actually seen anything. Very eerie.

I get hallucinations like that all the time. It consistently surprises me how vivid and realistic they can be. Imagining it or remembering it just does not do it justice.

My only advice is to try and enjoy it. View it as another type of dream, and try to use it to learn more about yourself.

That sounds like so much fun!

I really want something similar to happen to me once. It would be cool as long as it's not an old hag or some aliens.

I saw a pirate once though the first time I woke up in a SP, it was pretty funny. It didn't take long before I could move though. Was paralyzed for maybe like 1 min and then it was over.
