Thread: First time knowing

Two nights ago had me first lucid knowing what it was (I'm positive I had a really good flying dream twice before about a year ago but whilst realising, didn't realise if y know what I mean. Anyway, this one lasted about 10 seconds which was a little annoying.

I realised I was dreaming because of the light switch thing. I tried to turn on my bedroom light three times then it dawned on me (I have been telling myself through out the day and making sure I pay loads of attention when turning on/off lights generally). "Yes, I'm dreaming, quality" and I couldn't get out of my bedroom fast enough. I had trouble opening the bedroom door so I just tugged at it and it came clean off the hinges, i then started to run down the stairs then thought "just a minute I can fly" so I just jumped/floated the rest of the stairs but on stuggling to open the front door (I didn't think to just go through it) I woke up ...bastard.

Anyway, that was great so have to hone my technique for staying lucid. Thanks for reading. Happy hunting...I mean... dreaming. (Unless y like em sad of course.)
