I had read about people getting excited the first time and and waking up so on my first one I felt my heart start to race and tried to relax and act like it was no big deal. Even though I was really flipping out. It worked...my first LD lasted about 3 minutes. Which was long enough to have a great experience.

TK Chris Me too I have never had an LD. I've been trying for like 6 months or more and nothing just my dream recall is getting better( My dream recall was zero before). I know why I'am not getting LD's is because I always get lazy on the Dream Journals guess gonna start again tonight.

Haha, I just kept trying and i seriously became obsessed with this site so i guess that kinda helped me aha

Me too I'am obsessed with this site. I come to this site every day, all I think about is LD and anything I talk about is LD. I'am seriously obsessed with LD's but no luck in the end. Still waiting...for that amazing excitment.

I had my first LD last night, It was really wierd.
I was with some girl at a park and then she got on top of me then i went to kiss her and everything disappeared and i then could see my roof, so I was like what the hell, so i tried to put my hand through my other one and it worked, so just for one more test I attempted to wave my hand around wildly, but my hand just stayed in a fist. So I realized i was dreaming, I was rushed with excitement. But that damn girl was still on top of me. So i tried to think her away.. nope. I even tried to tell her i had to go to the bathroom. Then she looked up at me and she had no face it was just blurry. Then I woke up. DAMN WOMAN! haha

Ah, its not to bad. I was just happy to have experienced anything close to an LD.

Dont worry about it man, I havent remember any except for last night. I should have known it was a fuckin dream. But burning out is to deep of a sleep I think. haha

last night i had a long vivid clear dream non lucid :[

aw =/ Just keep at it. You already had an LD, you can have another one for sure. heh. Good job though for having it. Sometimes taking a day or two off helps.

I just keep gettting clearer and clearer dreams. But, I cannot get lucid. Dammit.

I have the same problem and i keep forgetting to do RCs
we'll both get it .. some day

I had a lucid a couple nights ago. It was odd. But I can never control anything in the dream. Its so wierd. Then i woke up, but i was still sleeping (dream within a dream).

Kinda like addicted here too xD I visit this site and a few others every day, LD'ing is all I can talk about (well, almost all) and I can't wait to get to sleep.

Cruush, you can learn control. Some people have it naturally, but others don't. Read a few tuts. Oh, and that last thing looks like an FA (false awakening).

yeah wow i remembered 12 seperate clear dreams from last night yeah TWELVE

Looks like were on the same page here, I can remember about 90-100% of my dreams. Though its tough to get lucid. But i have been controlling some aspects of my dreams while not knowing im dreaming. Like if i want something to happen while im dreaming it does it. Its pretty cool. But, Lucid is 10000000X better.
