I finally did it! (Seeing in numbers)

Yesterday night I had a short lucid dream. It was actually my first DEILD, and I piggybacked it off of a James Bond style dream I had, but for info on that dream go ahead and look at my dream journal (which I'll be updating as soon as I have time to transcribe my dream to my computer). Anyways, I became lucid and, as always I started to fly..but then I thought to myself, hey! don't you have some tasks you want to do? Indeed, I had two, and at first I planned to do them both, but the lucid ended before I could do my second one (falling for a prolonged period).

Anyways, I decided first to try to see an object in numbers. I was in a room with a table and a ceramic bowl on the table. I first rubbed my hands together, to try and stabilize the dream. This was my first time trying to rub my hands together, usually I spin. I have to say that spinning brings the dream into focus a bit faster and more effectively for me, but it was nice to try the rubbing hands. So I looked at the bowl, and tried to change its surface into numbers. Like many would likely do, I tried to imagine that scene in the matrix, but also had in mind a picture of a cat's face posted by Wolfsbane. Anywho, my first try was somewhat successful: I saw the bowl underneath, but it had a "coating" of 0's and 1's over it.

I tried again, and this time the whole entire room went Matrixesque! The walls and the table and the bowl all turned green and black with numbers scrolling up and down, but effectively forming their shapes! It was amazing and I got so excited that UGH, I woke up...still pretty cool though, even if it only lasted a minute or two.

Congratulations! Its a good thing that you didn't try the falling part because you might not been able to do your other task. Usually when somebody falls in a dream, the dream ends. Lucid dreams are so much fun when you remember what you wanted to do.
