Thread: How did you and What Happened when you met your DG?

Hey I honestly have never focused on that part of my dreams. I know many people here have. I'll see if i can have this thread moved to general discussion and i bet you will get more replys

I've tried in a few dreams to find my dream guide, but I didn't have any success. I tried to call out for my dream guide (since I had read in another thread that that works for some point), but no one appeared.

However, one time I tried to call out for my dream guide, but I couldn't get any words out and it felt like I was using my real vocal chords (common occurrence for me). Then I saw a small white girl in front of me that didn't fit in with the dream scene (some party with a bunch of older Asian people in it). I thought she might have been my dream guide, but since I couldn't talk anyway, I just left to do other things.

yeah i know :s and thx i put it in general but it went to newbie so..?

The only time i tried to find my dream guide i discovered that he was a flying talking pillow , one of the most surreal lucid dreams i ever had...

After that i never tried again...Maybe i should try one more time only for fun

I found mine.His name is cornelius. i dont really remember our conversations because they were a long time ago...i should find him again tonight.he looks just like a man but there is something about him that flags him as something else.i do remember one time though it was the second time i met him i asked what he could turn into. he told me that he would be whatever i needed him to be so i tried to turn him into a dragon but he said, strictly, he would be whatever i Needed him to be. i guess i remember it because it embarrassed me that i tried to control him, for some reason.

Yea, I was interested in this for a long time, but didn't have much success.

I tried to find mine by calling out, but nothing happened....

If I recall correctly... helped my enemy to find me in a labyrinth, nearly got killed, now I like to bully the guy lol

I think she was my dream guide.. (before I was lucid i had a false memory of her being my grandma) anyways, I left the room to do a reality check... and I came back in the room, and she was still there, and she whispered something, and I said "What?" and she said "Can I join you in your dream?"
But she was afraid to go outside, because of other DC's... so yeah.. I dragged her out anyways (not really a drag but a pull kinda thing)... yep

well, iam not sure if she really was my DG or not, but she seemed like she was

Oh why try to find, there are plenty of DC that can have those answers lol plus revenge is sweet. So no, never tried anyway <.<

Freddy Kruger actually told me he would be my dream guide. There was a period of time where I had a lot of Freddy dreams in which he was basically just kicking my ass while I wasn't lucid. Well, we ran into each other during one of my lucids. Here is an excerpt from the dream:

I don't think we've seen each other after that, though.

When i first found about about dreamguides and stuff, i just decided who i wanted my dreamguide to be. (Morpheous from the Matrix)

Since then he's helped me in a couple of dreams. Its also the first time a dream character actually made me lucid. That was awesome.

He came up to me, put his hands on my shoulders and looked me in the eye and said "You are the one". I laughed and walked on not knowing. But he came after to me and said it again. I responded "Yea i know, im the one, bla bla, im all powerful". He said, "No, stop, think about it". I stopped for a few seconds and then it hit me.

Best Dream character Evar.

Yea my current lucid dream mission is to meet up with him in his kung fu sparring program.

I'll tell him, "Alright, don't let me land a single punch"

Then we will fight, and ill really get to test my dream control

I've only seen who I think is my dream guide once, and I'm not even sure about that one. I wasn't lucid in that dream. I was moving through a house and saw this blonde girl in the house's kitchen. She introduced herself as "Detroyt". It was pronounced like the city Detroit, but for some reason I feel inclined to believe it was spelled with a Y. She offered to make me a sandwich.

The rest of the dream was pretty weird by my standards, but she was one of the most dynamic DCs I have seen. Mostly they are flat and boring, existing only to advance the plot, but Detroyt was full of personality, which is why I believe she is my dream guide.

P.S. - On an unrelated note, Firefox's spellchecker doesn't like the word "blonde". Try it!
