Strange one last night. I wouldn't even bring it up except for the fact that one other forum member shared the
adventure with me.
I don't know if this dream was caused by the Klan article, Serinanth's adventures, or too much St. Johns Wort.
Anyway, My dad, Serinanth, and me found ourselves driving into a small southern town. It was hot and dusty and the time frame appeared to be approximately the late 1940's.
Serinanth, I know it was him from his pictures, had a droopy mustache and scraggly beard. Picture him as a western outlaw and you will have it. Kind of a Brad Pitt thing.
We were visiting this reality because a great event was about to occur!
You see, this reality still had slavery. It wasn't based on race, because there were free men and slaves of all races and both genders.
Anyway, we rode into town in out Chevy S-10 pickup truck and were immediately mistaken for slaves! Needless to say, we spent quite a lot of time evading capture.
There were many close calls, including the time we hid in the towel storage area of a small hotel.
All around us, we could see rebellion just ready to start. You know, the type of feeling you get just before a thunderstorm hits!
People were causing some unrest, and there was a lot of resistance beginning.
We finally made it out of town, in the S-10.
Just as we were leaving, I glanced back and saw both of the world trade center buildings standing behind us, their tops were shouded lightly in mist.
The last thing I remember was Serinanth looking at me and saying: "When we get back, be sure to look up the date when the people here will be free"
Fade to black.
