Should we force ourself awaken if horrible thing happens while Lucid

Ok, as it goes, in Lucid, I dream of a character whose trying to evade me, and at instance I am both the evader and the chaser, and I change roles from time to time, I try to go out and look for it, yet I can not find it, and I feel its energy all around, then out of no where the entity attacks with a sword to my neck, I do not die, and somehow bow down to this entity, and thats that.. I am still having hard time making sense of this, any help will be appreciated..

Whoa, that's weird. I've never been that good at interpretations, but this is deep. Does it recur? I don't really know what to tell you on how to deal with it.

I'm not 100% sure why you'd waste a good lucid by forcing yourself to wake up. Just go read the Dream Control sections and get over it. None of it is 'real', there is no sword in your neck, so just stand up and direct the dream.

I just figured out recently that my lack of lucid dreaming past months was due to my nervous belives of my dreams. I think you can always turn the picture around. I've been having such a pleasant experiences last days just because I've been more relaxed about what is accuring to me in them. For example, the other day I was starting to be lucid and suddenly I started seeing alot of devils signs curved in the ceiling and really disturbing sounds of children crying. What I used to do in these circumstances was to panic and force myself to wake up , but when this happened I just focused on remaining calm and relaxed and tried not to become afraid or panic. And it worked like hell. In a split second my vision turned into something really beautiful and suddenly I was flying. So that's what I'm focusing on right now, always be calm and relaxed and not to let disturbing images destroy my visions.

      Exactly!

Everything is an illusion so don't bow out of your dreams just because it seems confusing/life-threatening. You are the master of this world.

That might be an interpretation of your dream itself: the "other you" who holds the sword up to your neck may be the one who tries to take over your dream world and prevent you from unlocking greater skill with LDs.

This kind of reminds me of Bleach and Ichigo's fight with his inner hollow.
The sun and moon pass over my shoulders,
I see mountains and rivers all in the palm of my hand.

Just ignore whatever it is. Nothing really 'exists' if you don't think about it in LDs.
