Wow...thats pretty funny. Maybe you should have flown up instead or had more willpower. That would be a great scene in some lucid dreaming movie.

the exact same thing has happened to me, in the end it just took a lot of concentration to get to the final door. that would be good in a movie, it would be funny if the character gave up on the doors, turned around and they were surrounded by more doors...

This always comes up...maybe there should be a sticky on some page, or something with good lucid dreaming movies and good books. Lucid Media or something.

Speaking of Waking Life..I was watching that last night...took some melatonin...and I have no memory whatsoever of it, but I apparently took the dvd out and put it away and went to bed. Just woke up in bed confused and rested.

strange maybe you should expect a dream scape to be there inside the closed door once you open it to end the consistent door chain

I've often had the exact same (both lucid and non-lucid) dream myself, although the last time, the final door turned out to be the lid of an upright, extremely fancy coffin, but I opened THAT, and there was just outer space (which I then jumped into and felt blissful freedom). Yeah, I know...(WEIRD)

I can tell you people a story. It consists of a man who dreams of his bedroom with a door, that door leads to another room identical to the previous one. The man liked to open doors and doors into rooms and more rooms, until he became tired, then he would walk back all the way to his original bedroom. But one day, he forgot which room was the first room, and he didnt woke up in his original bedroom, he dreamt he did, and continued to live his life as normal. Until he died in his dream, and woke in the original bedroom.
He suspected that thing happened every time he had that dream, but he quickly forgot his suspicion because you know, dreams are just dreams
