So, still getting used to the actively achieving a lucid state.

Was in a car, driving south to Los Angeles (clue +1; I never go there) and cars where heading up in the wrong direction, and I have to ask, "Why are cars driving the wrong way." *thought* "Ohhhh! Duh". LD attained.

So I calmed myself down, and moved to the back seat of the car, and let someone else drive. Enjoyed the experience while trying to stay focus. I think the movement in the car helped. Thought that I wanted a laptop, couple seconds later there was one sitting next to me. I pick it up. I think that I want to use the laptop to communicate but I didn't want to start "using" the laptop cause I wanted to keep focused on the dream \ surroundings.

So I use a vocal command, first time this has been accomplished, I usually don't use my voice to speak in dreams. "Communicate!" chat programs launch on the laptop, so I use another voice command, "Friends!". Now an overlay map appears with a number of dots indicating location of friends. So I select one and the car drives there.

At that point I slipped back into a normal dream-state and woke up soon after.

I'd have to say that would be one of the more successful intentional LD experiences I have had so far, and I was able to apply the advice I have come across on this forum.

Thanks DV; you all rock!!
