Stopping time and the Titanic
In a series of short lucids this morning I managed to stop time. I paused a huge crowd of people and then walked amongst them. At first the trees nearby were still swaying, but then I managed to stop them too. It was only for a few seconds, but interesting nonetheless.
Also, it was the first dream where I shouted 'increase clarity' to improve the focus - it worked brilliantly.
I wear glasses and contacts, and in one of the dreams I was wearing my glasses. I prefer wearing contacts, so I took off my glasses and tried to put my contacts in, but it was weird because if I concentrated I could bring everything into focus without glasses or contacts, whereas with lenses in it required no effort at all - although it was tricky to put the contacts in.
One thing I've wanted to do when lucid is to walk around the Titanic, maybe even experience the sinking. I remembered this in another dream this morning, so I tried to create the ship. I managed to make a dock (it looked similar to the one in the 1997 film), but couldn't quite create the ship. Lots of smaller ships kept sailing slowly by but I struggled to increase the size. I did manage to convert night into day though.
It was good fun having the lucid dreams because of the way I kept waking up between them, yet finding it easy to become lucid again. As I lay awake I just waited for imagery or sound (for example someone would just start talking or something). At this point I would become instantly lucid, and work on the focus in order to create a realistic dream.
Probably my most successful lucid dreams yet, and the nearest I've ever got to wake initiated ones. Yay!
