I became lucid and then (intentionally) forgot about it.

I was having a great dream where I was doing some epic stuff (namely being held for five years and being beaten everyday in some eastern country for killing a bunch of folks and busting into a huge mansion with a tank) and I'm walking down the street, following my cousin who hasn't seen me in five years, and all of a sudden I think "Well, I'm dreaming." I look both ways, confirm I am dreaming. I didn't do a single RC, but I still knew. Then I just kept doing what I was doing in the dream and eventually forgot.

I must say, forgetting about being lucid after becoming lucid was kind of satisfying. The dream was already cool as hell, I didn't wanna mess it up.

I'll try tonight and really act out while being lucid, haha.

LOL!! Sometimes just knowing that you're lucid is enough.. you just don't feel the need to do anything other than go along for the ride.

Yes, It can be fun to just continue the dream instead of altering it. But it's really a bummer when you realize you are dreaming, become distracted, and forget. Or when you don't have enough presence of mind to do anything in the dream.
