I was about 8 the first time I was aware I was dreaming. It's not really noteworthy, except for the response from the characters in my dream. |

That's pretty cool. I wish I was aware of dreaming when I was 8. I Mean, I knew I had dreams, but never knew you could control them until around 2005. |

""I wonder why people just don't swim when it rains - what difference does it make"" - A narrator in a dream I had.
Well Ive never been able to control them. I've only known enough to know I was dreaming, and that the rules wouldnt apply to me in dreams. |

I had a few lucid dreams around that age, if not earlier. I couldn't really control them, but I could see the potential. Unfortunately, my parents didn't know anything about controlling dreams, and I wasn't used to learning things from the internet at that age(if we even had it), so I basically forgot about trying to induce lucid dreams until I found the lucid dreaming article on Wikipedia. |

I had lucid dreams around age 8, though I can remember using the name Amanda in so many sentences the next day (I couldn't get the name of the first woman under the blue kaleidoscopic pattern), and "Amanda" was shown after the pink kaleidoscopic-like pattern. I had no control over "Amanda'"s groaning, however. This dream happened in the spring of 1994, by the way. |
