Thread: Crazy lucid dream today.

Okay, first off, I do want to say I am reading Carlos Castaneda's great book called The Art of Dreaming. And Don Juan gives Carlos a task to look at his hands which will put him thru the 1st gate of dreaming. This has a reason so just keep paying attention. :-D

NORMALLY when I dream, only half of it becomes lucid. I dont realize i am dreaming until after ive been in the dream for some time because of certain feelings or just certain things that happen. I am getting better at it though. Today after waking up early this morning, i put my son in his play pin so i could get a little more sleep. Of course I was in the same room so it was all good and he was very quiet so he helped me out a bit too. haha. ANYWAY, I was dreaming as if i were on a trailor on the back of a diesel truck. But there was no cab, this thing kinda just drove without one... I was in an empty city that had a LOT of graffiti. I couldnt make out what the graffiti spelled, but it kinda just looked like the suburbs of Chicago... The trailor I was riding was going under a bridge and I was actually going somewhere but I dont know where. I said, I believe this is the wrong way so I then went up to the bridge I was going under. At that point I seen something in my dream I dont even believe existed. It had a human face, but a yellow fluffy body. It walked on 4 legs. It kinda looked like someone was wearing suit but it acted like an animal. The face may not have been human, but it looked like a human face at that time. At this point I said to myself "I am dreaming." Then some weird alienated feelings started so then I knew I was lucid. I then was thinking "Don Juan told Castaneda to get past the first gate, the task was to look at your hands." I then stopped and looked at my hands and of course I seen them and I was wearing a blue windsuit. After i had seen those I was getting ready to find out what the hell this animal/human thing was. At the time I was walking towards it, and it was just staring at me, my son was crying and woke me up. Unfortunatey I didnt get to do much more than that.. :-( I hope to see it again and see what the hell it is. May be a scout.. Who knows. Thanks for listening.
