      Uber-vivid LDs

I'm not gonna post any dream in particular, but my dreams have been so vivid that it's hard to believe they are dreams. Luckily I found a failproof RC to me, otherwise I would never assume things I saw were dreams.

Really like Real life - the soft brown sand, grass to the minimal details, wall with bloodstains, dogs.....
I simply don't believe my eyes. I RC again and again and it's still hard to believe.

So how's your vividness in LDs? Have you ever had such a vivid one before?

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.

Ive had many very vivid LD's, one I remember in particular was when I found myself lucid by the side of a road. It was a dull grey day, the sky laden with heavy rain clouds, the ground wet, a typical english autumn/winter evening (and summer going by this year). I looked down at the road, and a car drove past quickly, the rush of air catching hold of a carrier bag and sending it floating atop the road dragged by the air currents. I looked up to see a woman huddled in the bus stop opposite me on the other side of the road watching it.
I remember just looking around observing the scene, the wet concrete, the sound and sight of the cars, and the amazingly ominous sky, understanding that it was a product of me and yet feeling completely seperate and individual in this world.. Still get the same feeling when i think back, pure awe

      Oh and this one too:

Yep many, I suppose its the realism that keeps me going back for more.

I've had one of those completely real life like dreams. It's incredible. I still have trouble believing how vivid it actually was. My RC was flying. I just floated around. It was incredible though. It makes me realize how incredible the human mind actually is. It almost feels as if it is held back during the day and dreams let it loose.

The hard part for me is remembering how vivid it was.

have had a few. my favorite was looking into a spoon filled with water and small clippings of gold leaf. turn the spoon and the water swirled just as it should, the gold flakes turning slightly. turn the spoon the other way and the liquid and gold (reflecting amazingly) spun accordingly. the spoon was cool, with enough weight to it. the reflection of the metals, the spoon and the gold, were what got me, and the bright sheen against the surface of the water in the spoon. the water wanted to spill over, and I had to be careful that this didn't happen. It was a short dream, but there was so much packed into it that it blew my mind - a pure meditation

the creepy ones are false awakenings where lots of RCs don't work. Had 3-4 FAs one time, solid hardcore FAs where after each one I went right into another - RCs not working. I woke up from that episode feeling like I'd just come out of anesthesia or a serious drug binge.

I had a lucid last night, and I remembered this thread. I was in a public place with lots of people. There were windows all around, and it was raining outside. I went and looked out of the window, and the sun came thru the clouds, and it was incredibly realistic and beautiful. Then I focused on the glass, and the water was running down, and every tiniest detail of the water drops was perfect, no matter how closely I focused. Then I looked around, and hundreds of DC's were standing at the glass, looking at the water on the window. I started laughing--they were all amazed at the detail too.

DILDs always get me the most vivid ones.. my chained LDs still aren't that lucid

and I still suck at WILD so nothing to state so far
WILD is supposed to be the most vivid LD, though

I mostly do the one where you just realize it's a dream--*sigh*--That's DILD right? I've done some FILDs and I think some accidental WILDs, but all those were short and fuzzy.

There's too many anagrams or whatever for me to keep straight. What the hell are NST and CAT?

No idea xD The "T" surely means "technique", though.

I actually had a pretty vivid one last night. The difference between my vivid lucid dreams and reality is that in the dream I have to strain to keep it vivid, like straining your eyes to bring things in to clear focus but with my whole awareness.

Actually I'm so used to doing that, Zaqaria (I should use glasses) that it gets transported to my dreams.

I had a dream last night where i became lucid but i convinced myself that i would wake up because it was so vivid and amazing (i usually get excited during lucidity and wake up) the light shining through the windows was so bright.. it was almost blinding! It started to snow and the flakes would hit the wet ground, melting quickly and the wind blew around the snow in the air... the trouble is i was convinced that i was awake so failed to get back the lucidity! arg!
