HaHa that's one of the funniest reasons I've heard for an RC failing |
|
I had something very interesting happen in my dream today while I was taking a nap. I was in a dream and had a suspicion that I was dreaming (i wasn't lucid yet). I went up to do the RC where you breathe through your nose while pinching it and my nose was stuffed up. This is the second dream in the past few weeks where this has happened (the other one I never became lucid b/c of it). I tried the RC one more time and could breathe a tiny bit so I decided to hover and it worked. That was when I became lucid. I woke up after a few minutes of being lucid and my nose was completely clear. |

In regards to what Toaster said, just do a different one. Maybe even use having a cold as a reminder for RC's. PLEASE make sure your dreaming before you jump out a window to fly, there's still a chance that you got a cold IRL. ^L^ |

My nose does always seem stuffy when I do it, but it appears to be the only reality check that's been consistent with me. As long as I can feel some air go out with the nose pinched, then I'm happy. |

Wow, that's a funky experience. I'd have to agree with everyone else and use other RCs as well. Like for me, once, I tried to poke my finger through my hand in a dream and it didn't work, it just hurt, I was all "well that was stupid" and went on not realizing I was dreaming |
