Thread: Lucid Virtual Reality Mask

Hi,
Well I had an interesting dream . . . In the dream there was this virtual reality mask. I put it on and I was kind of transported to another place (I couldn't feel the mask on me). While I had this 'virtual reality mask' on I did a reality check and it worked. So I started flying (highest I have so far ). I then took the mask off and I told the person next to me that it was a 'Lucid Virtual Reality Mask' and got really excited. So, is this an LD? Even if it wasn't, it was still an awesome dream.

Do you really have to ask?

Pretty cool experience, but if you are unsure about being lucid then it probably wasnt, or just really low lucidity.
Youll know when your lucid dreaming

If you realized you were dreaming, then I'd call it a lucid dream!

Nice dream. I like the virtual reality thing. LDing can be a lot like that, itself.
Did you know that the only reason you could control the dream, while wearing the mask, was because you were really dreaming, or did you think it was the mask itself that let you do it, and you had no ability to control the dream while not wearing it?

thats a pretty odd dream. sounds fun.

anyway, yes it was a lucid dream like others above me have said. the only question you have to ask yourself to determine if a dream was a lucid dream or not is:

"did i realized at any point i was dreaming?"

if you can answer yes to that, then its a lucid dream

Did you know you were dreaming?

If yes it was lucid, if no better luck next time .
