So I had my longest lucid yet. This lucid felt like it lasted a couple hours. I did a bunch of stuff, but the coolest thing i did was shoot myself in the head with my hand.

My friend had told me he wanted me to try this (in real life, outside the dream). He wanted me to experiment and see what dying in a dream was like (he doesn't lucid dream, however i am teaching him). So in the dream without hesitation i pretended my hand was a gun and shot myself in the head. It took about half a second for everything to fade into black, and then I saw blackness for about 2 seconds. Then i "woke up and was in the dream again. I had to do a reality check to see if i was still dreaming, because dying had disoriented me.
