I was having a dream last night were I was in this hotel room talking to my siblings. Then suddenly I'm somewhere else and as soon As I'm there, "Hey, I'm dreaming!"

I've had 2 lucid dreams, but in both of them I always forget to the whole clarity/look at your hands thing or something I've been wanting to do. But this time, I remembered!

So I looked at my hands, but they look as if I was looking at them cross eyed. I tried to focus on them, but then, *poof*, the next thing I know, I'm back in the hotel room.

      What happened?

When you look at your hands in a Lucid Dream, it is a peek at your Energy body. Years ago my hands would be a strange color and even bit distorted. But rather recently I looked at my hands, and suddenly the darkness of the night sky srrounded them and my hands glowed with a silver-blue light, and my hands were like small webbed crosses coming out of my wrists -- my Energy Body was departing from a pure Anthropomorphism and becomeing uniquely Spiritual.

But your energy body is still incoherent.

Find a Yoga Class, or a Tai Chi Class. You need to consolidate you Energy body.

No you don't, but yoga's good for fitness, so you might consider it anyway.

yeah I have vision problems in dreams often

something that works for me when that happens is openeing my eyes wider (well, my dream eyes anyway), it's hard to do at first because you'll feel like you're gonna wake up for real, but I tried it recently and it worked!

just try not to close your eyes again until you get the hang of it

This is an interesting idea: vision problems in your dreams.

Who here wears glasses, and with what correction please?

I wear glasses at the 20/200 level. I have to wear glasses to see anything more than 8 inches or so from my face. In my dreams, however, I don't even notice wearing them or notice vision issues that I usually have. Funny... I hadn't thought of that before.

My vision is 20/15, but now that you brought up the vision stuff, maybe the fact that I have an injured right eye which has been closed for weeks and will be closed for months affected it.

LOL - I'm sure that's good advice, it just sounds funny.

Dreamerer... wtf happened to your eye? that sounds painful...

Anyway, so dreammask no vision problems at all in your dreams? Do you feel that you wear lenses in your dreams OR that your dreams are 20/20. There is no difference and no objective way to tell - it is just a feeling, a knowledge that you have. Kind of like how someone in your dream won't look anything like Alice from down the street, but you *know* it's Alice. You'll *know* whether or not you're wearing lenses.

Also, someday, please try seeing an object way in the distance and report back. I'm betting if you're a glasses wearer, you can't do it!

      Please prove me wrong.
