    Thread: Finally!

      I had my first full length LD last night. I have had four total, but all the others were really short. The entire dream lasted over a day (almost two I think) and I was lucid for about half of it. I am not going to go into long details about what happened, but I'll tell you what I did.

      - I was stuck on a cliff with some friends with no way down. This was when I became lucid. I said that the shirts we were wearing had parachutes in them (I was lucid at this point, so I knew that they would). I look down and sure enough, there were ripcords for a parachute. We took turns jumping. As I was falling, my ripcords didn't work, so instead of freaking out, I just said "my parachute will open NOW" and right then it did : )

      - I remember reading about the magic wand thing on this website, so I told myself I would find one in my pocket. Sure enough, there is was.

      - I changed one of my DC's into a chicken

      -I told myself my wallet was full of money and checked it and it was.

      There were, however, two things that I couldn't do.
      - I couldn't fly. I told one of my DC's that I could and to "watch this!", but I couldn't do it.

      - I tried to change a dodge neon into a ferrari with my magic wand, but it didn't work.

      I guess I just need practice. I know I said I was lucid for almost half of that dream, but I lost some control after that stuff, and just went along with my dream still in a low lucid state.
      There it is!! I hope it isn't too boring to read, it was one of the most fun dreams I have had ever.

      You're telling me you had a 'real' LD and you couldn't even change a Dodge neon into a simple Ferrari!?!
      YOU FAIL AT LIFE!!

      no seriously that's all cool man! Consider yourself lucky for having one of those long ones. I've only had a few and the longest lasted about 5 hours and i wasn't lucid for more then 6/10 of it. Lucky you!

      Yeah, I guess I didn&#39;t specify. sorry about that. The dream in DREAM TIME was almost two days. In actuallity it probably lasted about 30 minutes. Isn&#39;t the mind great&#33;? Sorry for the confusion.

      That&#39;s OK, no worries.

      But I still don&#39;t understand. Did you feel like it was really 2 days (full lenght) or there were some kind of "fadings"? I mean... like there was morning and then blackness and then 2 PM and you did something for 5 minutes and then blackness and evening you did something 5 minutes.... or you mean you felt like doing something for 2 days - full lenght? I hope you know what I mean.

      Yeah, there were certainly some fadings, but not like normal. I usually jump from place to place in my dreams, but this one was relatively consistant throughout the two days (dream time) with only a few places that faded. The fadings weren&#39;t long at all, not like morning and then night. My guess is they were maybe an hour, max of two hour fades and there were only a few (maybe three?)
