As with any significant Human Quest taken on between childhood and the Prime of Life, there would be the important transition points when some success is finally achieved. Such points of pride and triumph are the Rites of Passage which lead to an empowered and potent adulthood... or more significant than just physical adulthood, but which prepare the individual to be a significant and important member of his community.

Naturally, it doesn't need to be Lucid Dreaming. The completion of any challenging or noteworthy task is sufficient to render to one the confidence to take one's place in society with some aura of credibility and entitlement. I remember having learned to fly airplanes at 16. Yes, it was a child taking his place among adults, but when I did well at it, it made me feel as though I belonged. I suppose it feels about the same for the various Captains of Teams and Cheerleaders, and the Presidents and Chairmen of the various Clubs. Achievement breeds confidence.

Now, what IS confidence? Does confidence make one smarter? Faster? Prettier? Better?

Well... Yes.

But specifically regarding Lucid Dreaming, then one must examine what one is trying to achieve. For many Lucid Dreamers, they are happy if they 'control' a rabbit out of a hat, or 'control' a masturbation with a Dream Character. One can hardly stand up to lead one's Community because of some success with wet dreams. However, as an aside, I should mention that sexual confidence and Social Confidence are intertwined and related, as a young man who has had success with silver tonguing young ladies into the haystack will find himself acting with confidence in all other areas, and, likewise, a young man who has suddenly found himself successful with some important Challenges and Achievements, will then find himself able with much greater facility to talk the young ladies into the haystack.

I suppose Sex in Lucid Dreams can have positive influence on one's Real Life depending upon the mode of such sex. If one is in one's dreams going to brothels, or raping sluts in the back allies, then I can hardly expect that one's daily life will be much instructed. However, if one finds the finest young ladies of Dream Land and seduces them with charm and wit, then I suppose there could be some cross-over benefits in Real Life.

But there is a great deal more to life then Sex. Sex is only an auxillary... a sideline. I would think that the most significant and powerful achievements within Lucid Dreaming would be Spiritual. Particularly potent would be the acquisition of Spiritual Sponsership. Just think, how much greater does a person's Real Life Confidence increase if some Splendid Angel of God assures him of Support and Guidance... even of Immortality and the courage that must accompany the assurances of Eternal Life.

Materialists may scoff, but let the Materialists see all of this Spirituality as extremely powerful Psychological Symbols and Maturity Mile Stones. One is still just a child, whether grown or not, but when a Fiery Angel of God crowns one with Crown and Sceptor, then one can finally step up and start acting like an Adult.
