I assume this has something to do with sword fighting and not just playing chess with a samurai.

... Samurai Chess... Two cool words separately, but together... Godly. I like how important this topic is, oh and the description is amazing! It's almost like I have an idea of what you're talking about.

      haha
      alright keep your wicks on

samurai chess is a very fast paced game, the area is an expanse that is secluded to the area where your piece can move, every move made by each piece you are, and there is no thought process only mere fighting big blue orbs of energy as each character interacts with eachc other
      basicaly chess with samurais

      is soooooooooooooooooooo much fun
      as i say

Next time, give a lucrative description on the post that you use to start the topic. Chess is the last thing I would play in a lucid dream, because it never comes to my mind. Sounds fun anyway.

Has anyone read Edgar Rice Burroughs by any chance? If not, good luck finding the series I'm talking about (The John Carter of Mars series)

Anyway, in book 5 they have their own version of chess (Jetan), and my favorite part is when John Carter's son gets stuck in a game of live chess where when two players are put on the same square they sword fight to the death. Ah, what men will do to save the lives of their Martian princesses

That's just what your description reminded me of. (I should read that book again)
