Very minor LD, but a breakthrough for me

Havent posted here in a while, but I have kept reading :wink:
Thought I would report this because my LD experiences have been almost nothing even though I have been trying for more than a year - so it's great for me, but you will probably think im overreacting :tongue:

I was walking down the hallway of what looked like my old high school. Suddenly I though I was dreaming, so I thought to myself to try to fly. Instantly, I was in the air near the ceiling flying down the hallway towards some people.

Woke up.

Entire dream took about 4 seconds, which is a new LD record for me.

Well done :D Did you use a technique to induce it? That's definitely one for the ol' dream journal. Keep up the good work!

Nope, completely random it seems. I've tried all the techniques I can think of but this was spontaneous.

That's why I laugh at some people that come to boards like these and they are like "help me, Ive been trying to get a LD for one week and cant do it!"

Absolutely! Gotta have that attitude or else the effort is useless.

The 4 seconds are not what I am proud, its more of the fact that I was able to fly after thinking of it. And flying apparantly is not the easiest thing to do for newbie LD'ers :D

Hope I can fly again tonight, but I'm going drinkin so the alcohol probably wont help :lol:
