Mass lucid dream - participants wanted

Reading all these posts about dreaming together and hacking into dreams gives me an idea for an event in which everyone can try to participate. If possible I'd like to try repeat events to keep trying for success.

So here's the idea, everyone meets at a location we all agree upon at a particular dream location at a particular time. It's not that I expect everyone to actually *be* in that real world location, but just having the *intent* of being at that dream location to see if we can all hook up.

First event location: Statue of Liberty
Time: March 20th, Saturday morning, 4am pacific, 7am eastern
Who?: All invited...

I would suggest trying to go lucid 15-20 minutes before the actual time. In addition I would try to hold a mental image of the Statue of Liberty. When you are lucid and to head to the Statue of Liberty I would suggest yelling 'Statue of Liberty' hold the image in your mind and point at any item until it causes you to change dreams.

Not really expecting anything, I just thought it would be hella fun to try and see what happens, who knows what might happen. Anyone interested?

we can pick other locations later... Or perhaps it might be best to just pick one and do it over and over again... if we succeeded at nothing else than just one of us seeing the Statue of Liberty I think that would be cool and would symbolize a potential for linking up with others to happen. My belief is that our intent is enough to link. All my lucid dreaming has just been solo, but I always thought how cool it would be to be able to connect with others in a shared lucid dream...

Awesome idea. I believe someone suggested this type of idea a few months back too. It sounded good then, but not a lot of people really tried hard to accomplish it. I'm down. Count me in. I'll try my darndest to remember. Only problem with me is that I get excited when I become lucid, so I often forget about things I've previously contemplated trying in my dreams. I will get up around 3am Pacific time and stay up for a few minutes (10-15), focus on the objective and my fellow dreamers and get pumped for it - then go back to sleep. Good luck everyone. I hope we can do it.

Whoa, what if Dream Views became the first lucid dreamers forum to attain frequent mass lucidity?! That would be really cool. And then we could hold, like, weekly Dream Views meetings in our mass lucid dreams. And then become, like, dream super heroes! Ridding the dream world of evil and harm. Here's a quick thought for you all to chew on if you'd like - what if "Armageddon" is fought in the dream world? What if the dream world is the full manifestation of the subconscious realm? And there's your personal dream world (your unconscious mind) and groupings of dreamworlds (like maybe everyone on Earth) and larger groupings until the whole unconscious mind of the universe is grouped together. And then what if it is this realm (the universal unconscious or subconscious) that the final spiritual battle of good and evil takes place? And perhaps the things John who wrote the Revelation in the Bible saw are completely literal - because they are in this joined dream realm? Just some ponderances. Yay for Oneironauts! haha.

I have no idea if I can even get a lucid dream withing a week of the event, let alone within 20 minutes. I will try though, can't hurt and would be fun.

It'd be sweet if we could all meet up, it could be like the Dreamviews Staff meeting. Except unlike a regular staff meeting, WE'D have superpowers and stuff!

And there'd be more muffins.

I had a false meeting with Jill1978 at the Statue of Liberty one night (she didn't remember)

I also left an object at the base of one of the corners of the Eiffel tower for someone to find. So far nobody has found it yet. Hope it wasn't stolen!

whoa, great response from everyone. glad to see the interest level is there. I'm definitely looking forward to it. Statue of Liberty here we come... For those who don't think they can do it on command, just try anyways, wake up at the time, visualize the statue of liberty and go from there, maybe something good will happen!

Lowercase - sorry about the weird time difference, but hopefully the time warp works! I picked a time to try to accomodate everyone in US...

It's at the base of the stairway. Left pylon(?) as you are facing the river.
