      Bring down heart rate.

Last night i had my second lucid dream. For some reson i was standing in the same place as the last time i hade one ( in dream world), but facing the other direction. then i thought to my self " i wish i was lucid" then i remembered i was dreaming then i heard my own heart beat and i was scared to lose the moment so i spun franticly, then shortly blacked out and woke up in my bed and the clock said 10:63 and i wansnt really thinking jus pissed i woke up. In frusteration i closed my eyes then realized its 10:63?!?!?! opened my eyes and looked at the clock and it said 7:30 and to make sure i double and triple checked, sadly i lost the moment . ive read numorus faqs about staying lucid but they dont work can any one spare some advice?

Unfortunately these sort of things can happen in LDs. But it was just your second, so still got lots of practicing to do. It's impressive you became lucid at all. Keep plugging away and you'll keep improving.

Different things work for different individuals. Keep trying things until you find something that does work. That's really the best advice....And perservere. Be confident and keep trying.
