I haven't had a lucid dream for a week or so, but had one last night. However as a new ld'er I had some problems which eventually led to me waking up. The interesting thing about the experience was the disparity between my dream self and sensations my real body was feeling.

I recognised I was dreaming when I appeared in an old house of mine. The moment I did though the person infront of me shrank away like a fisheye lens, so I started rubbing my hands together which worked a little and brought back everything into focus. However this didn't last long and so I tried to shout "I want to stay lucid!" again and again. This worked a little though until I noticed a sensation on my hands that felt like I was breathing on them although they were no-where near my mouth. This was what woke me up. I figure that my hands were near my nose/mouth while sleeping and I might have actually shouted out for real, blowing on them. The sensation working itself into my dream without any obvious stimulus was extremely strange.

Interestingly enough, although perhaps only to me, I had two pretty wild dreams before my LD. One had me and a group of people exploring a building filled with some really nasty, nasty, fleshy monsters and insects that got under your skin. I also dreamed of the apocalypse, I watched the stars wink out and the atmosphere vanish from the earth. The people around me standing in the road just looked up numbly as the world faded away.
