Thread: Finally! I was about to give up

Finally! I was about to give up and chalk up LDs as a past experience. After bout 5 or 6 months of no LDs and a ton of real world stress I thought it was over. Last night I read the February task as usual just to have it in mind. I found myself if front of a mirror and looked intently at my face. It was not exactly my face in appearance but I still felt it was I. Then a closed shower curtain to my left got my attention because I thought it was open. So I moved it just with levitation and I knew it was a dream. I went happily down a hallway to another room where there is some family members . Short but happy I woke up and still glade for what I had.

Maybe the attitude of giving up on the idea had something to do with it.

it sure did. however, i've had four lucids in the past three days, so i'm cooking with oil now.. 8)

That’s great. But what did you mean buy using my success. Did you mean using the attitude of giving up?

upon reading the thread again i see where the confusion came from ...

i meant i used the fact you had a lucid after a long dry spell as inspiration that my own could end. sort of the reasoning of "if they had a lucid after months of a dry spell, i can certainly have one again after my shorter dry spell..."
