Thread: lucid while sleepwalking...

i noticed this last night when i was in an LD...i started walking in my dream, soon everything faded and i opened my eyes and i was walking but was still in a dream state seeing stuff with my minds eye that seemed real....but instead of it being regular sleepwalking i was lucid. But my eyes were open and it may have happened cause i'm sick.


Anything similar happen to any of you?

Just the other morning I dreamt that I was sleepwalking. My mum came into my room and woke me up early, but I decided to roll over and go back to sleep. I then had a dream that I in fact got up and went into the kitchen to grab something, then walked back to my room, and my mother was sayin "are you sleepwalking? Are you alright" etc etc... I remember that I was secretly awake but I pretended to be sleepwalking and went back to bed.

I woke up half an hour later and thought that I really had sleepwalked, but my mum didn't say anything about it so I reasoned it had all been a dream. It was strange because I was kind of lucid in an incomplete way.

I wonder if anyone has had a lucid dream and sleepwalked in real life?

Hehe, yeah i once was sleepwalking and i almost pee'd on the kitchen table.

yep. Once i almost peed on the clothes hamper, and another time, i peed on the lid of the toilet. I was standing in the right spot, but forgot to lift the lid.


When i was about six was the last time I wet the bed, but it happened because i became aware of having to pee in my dream, so i walked into a bathroom and started to go! The ensuing dampness woke me from my slumber, else i would have forgtotten it happened before I woke up. (Makes you wonder, is that what always (or maybe just usually) happens when kids wet the bed? Food for thought.

Suspiro: how did that scenario (the one you describe in your openning post) end? Did you go back to your bed before you "woke up?" Are you sure you actually were up and about? I've had a number of semi-FA episodes that sound similar, but in my case, my physical body was definitely inert and under the covers.

I remember once, I thought I was dreaming and walking at the same time, and "discovered" that I had telekinesis. I impressed a coworker of my mother's by calling a book from the shelf into my hand, and turning the lightswitch on and off with my mind. (It was this dream, and that particular experience, that has caused me to gravely doubt the claim that you cannot adjust light levels in a dream.) I explained that it was only a temporary ability, because while I appeared to be up, moving around, and interacting, I was actually asleep and dreaming. When I "woke up," I told her, I would lose my telekinesis unless i managed to recreate the status of being asleep, functional, and lucid at the same time.

When I woke up and realized that I actually had not been up and moving around, I felt rather silly about it.

I had an FA where I woke up away from my bed, and I thought, "Hey, I only sleeptalk and sleepcry, so maybe this is a dream!" but the RC failed, probably because it was SO realistic that that was what I expected, but then I really woke up and swore at myself.

And I've only gone to the toilet in my dream once, and I was dreaming I was sharing a toilet with Atta from A Bug's Life, and I really peed and half woke up, still half in the dream, and instead of dream-me peeing... well, you've got the gist. I was eight or something, and I hadn't wet the bed for years. That's the only memory I have of ever wetting the bed, actually, and I have quite a few (other) memories from when I was about four, so I feel quite proud.

Yep, ive missed the toilet before many times. Oh and I thought that the time i was sleepwalking was just wierd dream until my brother told me what i did.

Ive noticed that all the times i wet the bed when i was a kid...i dreamed was doing it, last time i did it i was about six, i can only remember 3 other times.
