First True Lucid! Been trying since July.

Wow, what a night. I had gone to sleep not even really trying to do anything. For the past week or two, I have been waking up at around 2 - 4 AM.

I believe it all started with a false awakening. I woke up, looked at my alarm clock, and couldn't really read what time it was. So, as I go back to sleep, I decide to try to WILD. I am very sure that this was a false awakening now that I think about it.

As I tried to WILD in my false awakening, it felt like my feet came off. Then, I slowly slipped into nothingness, I saw a screen with some random shapes moving about on them, then I thought, "Hey, that looks like a movie screen!"

Then the screen zoomed out, and I was sitting in a movie theater. I then knew that I was in a lucid dream.

There were some people I knew from school sitting in the row infront of me. I walked down and sat near them. I don't remember the dialogue, but I remember that a girl I know, named Jessica, stood up and walked out of the exit. I decided to see where she went.

As I walked out of the exit, I was in some giant shopping mall, which looked a lot like the Dulles Town Center, a mall near where I live. I walked up a flight of stairs, and I was infront of a giant water feature in the center of the little plaza there.

Then I heard someone shout, "Hey, Jessica!" I turned around and I think I caught a glimpse of her walking into another room. I go into this room, and I see her walk out the exit on the far end. I think I was in some kind of sauna/wash room. I walked out the way Jessica did, and I was back in the mall.

I was in some kind of food court/rest area. There were a bunch of tables with plates and silverware on them. I decided to try some telekinises. I launched a bucket sitting on one of the tables really high. I tried on some plates and such, but failed. I suck at telekinises I guess. Then another girl I know from school, named Laura, walked up and decided to help me mess around with telekinises. She grabbed a bunch of plates, or had them materialize in her hands, or something, then started to throw the plates around me. I tried to pull them towards me, but failed miserably. Then I walked away.

I was suddenly outside, walking down a familiar street. I decided to try to do some psi powers. I made a PSI ball of fire in my hands. Then an obnoxious kid from school showed up and said, "Wow! How did you make your hands all fiery like that!?!?" I then walked away and decided to go back to the mall. I was walking down a hallway and I slowly started to fade away. I wanted to stay so bad, but I was pulled out.

I think when I woke up, it was a false awakening aswell. I looked at my clock, couldn't read the time, and went back to sleep. I woke up in the morning very refreshed, which is rare.

There were parts of the lucid dream that I remember doing, like guiding a little ball around the mall with my mind, to amuse random passerby in the mall. Don't remember where it fit in, though.

      Interesting much?

[edit] Upon further revision, I believe I know why this lucid was so successful and lasted so long. It was because it truly felt as if I was in the "real." It didn't feel so extraordinary, so I acted casual as I usually do. I realize that I could have done so much more, like fly, but I didn't. Hopefully I will get another lucid soon. And I am going to go get a bottle of that B vitamin stuff, if it really does help...

Well done I bet you're really pleased, and yes, the feeling of refreshment in the morning when you've been so 'active' during the night is a remarkable and fantastic feeling isn't it? Best of luck with the next one

      wow

Right on! Congrats on your first lucid. Pretty cool huh?
I've had a lucid in which I didn't think to try really cool stuff. Frustrating. I think its great you were able to conjure fire on your fist try. I never have been able to do it ( of course I've only had a handful of lucids so far) but I intend to try something like that soon. Good luck with your next one!

Why sleep when you can dream?
