i do tap into my spirituality. and have learnt enough to know if i have an experience that is out of the ordinary:
1. i do not expect others to believe it unless they know me well. i certainly wouldn't expect strangers online to believe me.
2. the simplest explanation is probably the best explanation (even if it means my 'spiritual" experience is downgraded to something less exciting, which is almost always the case, as unappealing as that may be)
3. i don't get all defensive and call people jackasses if they don't take my word on something unusual. if it was a legitimate spiritual experience, it doesn't matter what others think. and furthermore, spiritual experiences generally make me less apt to call people childish names for being skeptical.
i meant no offence, but i certainly don't think what happened to you was a spiritual event (or likely even happened). i agree with what billybob said- personally i would be scared out of my wits if that actually happened. i wouldn't post it on a forum and expect people to believe it has some supernatural cause.
and Asclepius, personally, i believe that jung was truthful in his account , which you related. but i only believe that it actually occured because he comes across as cogent, rational, and discriminating (on the whole). in other words, he earned my respect and a certain measure of trust.
this person does not seem as discriminating or rational, and seems quick to attribute things unneccessarily to 'spiritual' causes. hence i didn't even bother to double-check what gender she was, as her entire account and story seems fabricated, or footed more in fancy than scientific examination.
hydraat_takiyah, if you have a webcam, please post some pictures of your scars...
