I suppose \"lock up your trailer really tight tonight so mr bogey doesn't get you dickweed!\" isn't name calling then.

What you guys don't overstand is, i don't even share these things with my friends and family because they all think i'm nuts!!! This kind of stuff has been happening to me for as long as i can remember, and there's really no one i can share my experiences with. That's why i'm so thankful that i found this message board in the first place.[/b]
Have you ever heard of \"confirmation bias.\" It's when you reject things that DIDN'T happen (a bruise or bite isn't in the same form as the one in your dream/your teeth feel a bit sore maybe/etc.) but when something similar happens you form conclusions based on that. Have you heard of how people have epic long dreams in minutes or even SECONDS? You can really process that much information! Therefore, you go and in the motion of biting your hand, your mind forms a short reason for why it happens. If you were in a house, you might see a mousetrap and get your hand trapped in it, you were with horses, you get bitten. Catch my drift? And even then, if you are with horses, even if your body doesn't know you are biting your hand and you go and bite it, your mind can quickly formulate a reason for it, causing you to believe the initial reason was a dream.

I mean do you guys even know what lucid dreaming is?

That is an idiotic question (before you retaliate in a hostile way, I said your question was idiotic, not you)

so one night, i was asleep and i felt this weight on me, you know, like someone is actually laying on you. So i look up and there's this guy there, but i couldn't really see him, but i could feel his weight on me, but i could kind of see him. I don't expect for you guys to overstand what i am talkling about but it is most certainly true. I never spoke to him aloud, we spoke telepathicly. I asked him who he was and he just smiled at me. I asked him what are you doing here, and he had so much lust in his eyes like he wanted to have sex; hence the feelings or should i say vibes i got from him( also got the vibe that it indeed was a male entity.) He kept trying to force himself on me and i asked him very politely to leave at which that time he basically refused. I told him to get the hell outta here and leave me alone, at which that point i got completely up and prayed and meditated and formed a psychic ball of protection around me and slept peacfully for the rest of the night. It's like, when i dream, even though i wouldn't call that a dream, i smell, taste feel, and invision things like i'm not even asleep at all.
[/b]
That's called your way of visualizing \"sleep paralysis.\"

Like about two weeks ago, i was having this dream where i was bungy jumping in some body of water and on the last plunge, there was something holding me under saying(telepathicaly) \"you know this is what you want isn't, this is what you want.\" i kept saying no, this is not what i want. it was so disturning that i jump out of my sleep and didn't go back!! yet it was very calming and soothing, like someone was trying to coax me to kill myself!!! Weird huh. YOu guys may as well start calling me RIPLEY, because i've got a million of em'!!!!
[/b]
That is in NO way (like the other one) paranormal in the least, or even out of the ordinary! It's called a "dream."

i believe i understand completely what you are talking about...sleep paralysis. in the middle ages you would have called it an incubus.
while in similar states i have heard breathing across the room, heard guttural, demonic growling an inch from my head, the feeling i was being suffocated by an evil presence, etc etc.
however, this is while i was overly superstitious and thought the experiences were leak-overs from the 'astral realm'. my superstition caused me to misdiagnose what was actually happening.
this post leads me to believe you legitimately believe many things that happen to you are paranormal. that is well and good. i once had a similar state of mind. however, IMHO you need to realize how the mind can play tricks on one, especially when one eagerly wants to believe they are experiencing something occultic or paranormal.
you have yet to describe any experience that isn't easily explained by natural causes, or your mind and imagination. of course, you are free to your own opinion. i believe many strange things have happened to you. i also believe they were caused solely by a mixture of natural causes (dreaming, half-dreaming, sleep paralysis) and your mind, subconscious or otherwise.
peace and love.

First of all, i've never been around horses, my teeth or gums were not sore, and why would i be biting my hand in my sleep? I don't have fleas! It's not fair for you to ridicule me for something that you can't or won't comprehend. I'm gonna continue to post on this site until i'm blue in the face so fuck off.

Anyhow, i dreamt that there was a horse standing over me; and when i attempted to push him away and try to find out how the heck he got there, he locked and loaded on my hand like it was some kind of meal or something. The more i tried to yank away, the harder he bit down, until i finally snatched away and partially woke up.
just when i thought the beast was gone, i felt him breathing on me like he was some sick love slave! *Weird huh! But the real hum dinger is i have bite marks on my left hand where the fellow bit me at!! Anyone else experience this kind of phenomenon? Well, i just happen to have a long list of experiences just like this one. If anyone would ever like to hear about them, just let me know!
Interesting. They say that people hypnotized to feel burns will develop blisters.
However, most remarkable about this dream is that it is pointing out that you are wasting your potential. You know, you are supposed to be riding this Dream Horse. You are supposed to be master of it, not it of you. Who is mounting whom here?
Horses are symbolic of Will. Will is what allows us to take charge of the direction our lives and to achieve whatever goals we deem worthwhile... indeed, even to formulate such goals, one needs a certain amount of Will and the ability to control it.
Your dream would indicate that now your Will is biting the hand that feeds it.... that your Will is presently being used self-destructively.

YOu know, that is a very interesting point you made there, and most certainly true. Where did you read that at, I would really like some inlightenment on the subject. So are you saying I'm in the way of my own progress, email me, let's talk!
