      False awakening

Last night i had my first LD in about 4 days YAY. I was dreaming i was in my garage and trying to reach for something, when I couldnt reach for it i grabed it with my mind and pulled. As it tugged forward I thought "CRAP I'M DREAMING YAY!!!!" then i told myself to calm down so i wouldnt wake up(altho ive never waken from a lucid dream from being happy) then i looked at my hands, said alloud who I was and where i was, which was where i live out in my driveway. But then all of a sudden a storm blew in, and i wanted it sunny so i tried weather control, but the storm kept coming back, dunno why. I concentrated really hard and thought GO AWAY in my head but i woke up, back into my dream, it got sorta fuzzy as far as my memory goes but I'm pretty sure i ran through at least half my waking day not knowing i was dreaming.... When i woke up I was happy but a little pissed that i didnt LD again after my false awakening. You guys have any insite or perhaps techniques for me?

Well, I had a storm coming towards me. All I did was forced it to go back. Everything in dreams dealing with control just has to do with if you believe you can do it or not. Well, you CAN!
Still trying to decide on a sig.

Try to verbalise your commands, it works for some people really well.

Always do a reality check when you wake from a lucid dream, I've found that at least 25% of the time when I awaken from an LD, it is false!

False awakenings can be a serious bummer!
