I've had maybe a dozen experiences like that in my lucid life. Sky so blue it hurts! Flowers incredibly bright and beautiful, sunshine warm and soothing, nice gentle breeze blowing. |

I had a dream just 2 nights ago where i went to this place that was incredible.I entered dream lucid and this huge square hole was in my dream room. I walked inside. The weather was warm, there were trees as far as the eye could see and at the this hill i was standing on was a crystal clear lake. There was not really a sun but the sky seemed to naturally admit a golden light. It was like a piece of heaven i had wondered into. So has anbody else experienced or saw something so beautiful that you wished it was real or that you could at least paint it or you have to share it with other people? |

you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

I know exactly what you mean. I have had a few dreams like that as well. I am not artistically challenged, but it seems that everytime I try to draw or paint the scenery...it just doesn't compare and I get irritated with the whole situation. Makes you wish you could video tape your dreams, huh? |

I've experience the same 'heaven scene' a few times. |

Thats exactly how I felt. A sense of peace i have never before experienced until then. It was like for 5mins, I was in heaven. A peace one day i hope to dwell in forever. Just think, if the whole world was covered in the serenity felt in the dreams, what the world would be like. |

There is one forest that I find myself in that makes me feel that way. All of the trees have silver leaves and they wave and shimmer in the wind, similar to the way cottonwood tree leaves move. It makes a wonderful sound, similar to the way leaves rustle but metallic. The leaves fall off of the trees straight down, even if it is windy. It looks like its raining little silver leaves. The forest floor is completely covered with the leaf litter. The sky is usually swirly and tranquil. It's really pretty if the sun is setting or rising because of the orange light that reflects off the leaves. It's really amazing what your mind can create. I keep trying to get back there whenever I go lucid, but I can never seem to get there. I went lucid there once, but the dream faded quickly |

You know, the degree of Ecstacy experienced often does not directly correlate to exactly how the aesthetics (impossible of quantitative assessment in any regards) would ordinarily be appreciated. For instance, my most ecstatic dream experience occurred in what was a sand quarry along the rail yards just outside of town, full of truck ruts and discarded rusty containers and broken down machinary. There was one particularly beautiful mud puddle, but that was it. But what delivered to the scene its overwhelming Beauty was the shimmering of my Consciousness at the time. |
