Last night I was dreaming that I was rehearsing for the school production of "Beauty and the Beast" again, and I became inexplicably and spontaneously lucid. The first thing I did upon discovering this was blow open the front doors of the school and jump off the hill (my school is on top of a hill in real life, too). I tried to fly, but doubt kept me from taking off and I just rolled down the hill. After that, I decided to test the extent of my control. I froze for a several moments, staring at a nearby analog clock. Soon after it stopped ticking. The time was 11:11am. I said to myself, "This must mean that I can dream forever!" This excitement caused me to lose the dream so I quickly recovered by focusing on my hands. I then spent the remainder of the dream chatting with all the DCs and convincing them that they were all not real (try it, it gets some real interesting reactions.) I also succeeded in flying (well, levitating) by stepping into the air and expecting it to be solid. I saw some "converted" DCs try this, and they all fell on the ground. For the rest of the dream, I was followed by some dream characters who believed that they were that, and we tried various dream experiments, like strange reality checks involving digesting the statue of liberty and jumping into burning pictures. |

Hearing about all the interactions with Dream Characters just makes me want to get fully lucid even more. I think I might be coming out of an 8 month (yes, 8 months!) long dry-spell so I'm getting pretty excited and optimistic. I like the idea of trying to convince them that they aren't real, that would be pretty interesting I think. |

This is disappointing news, I never realised I could go another eight months without a lucid dream. |

Congrats on ending your dry spell. Is there any factor in your life that help you attain your lucidity? Have you been less stressed lately? |

what an awesome dream! |

your dreams go away because you dont try hard enough (or you try too hard) without faith that you will have a lucid dream theres very small chance of having one, usually dry spells seem to last that long because you do actually have a dryspell that lasts for a week or two from stress or something and you lose faith that you can actually have LDs |

.
You can't quit. I won't let you. Oh and look how many posts I have now |
