      remembering things etc. in dreams

this topic might have been discussed before but i was just wondering if anyone had ever remembered for example, where they left their car keys or something else, a name or face or anything in a lucid or normal dream and if so, how?

o and has anyone been able to learn something or practise something in a lucid dream and be better at it in real life.

Yeah i don't think you can really learn things in a dream you didn't know before hand. However, getting better at a physical action may be possible. I haven't heard much about it though. I think I read that it's possible. That would be cool to be able to practise a sport, or something while asleep and wake up better at it.

Try to search for informations about Paul Tholey. He was a german psychologist doing researches (as far as I remember properly!) on how to practise during LD. Probably he made some experiments with sportsmans.

I have remembered faces and stuff by calling out the name of the person i wanted to see while fully trusting in my subconcious to spawn them and doing my best to not interfere by thinking what they should look like

      information recall

I have been curious about this topic for a while now. In Laberge's Guide to Lucid Dreaming, he talks about surgeons and mechanics practicing tasks while lucid. I wonder if anyone can practice math or language while dreaming or perhaps recall information learned but lost in the subconscience.

i don't have any experience with this myself, but i have a friend who claims to have learned something in a dream. he was always unable to roll very good joints. then, one night in a dream, he was rolling lots of nice ones. when he woke up, he tried the method he was using in his dream and rolled some very nice joints. this might be a different kind of case, though, since he didn't really get any new knowledge in his dream. instead, his subconscious just worked out a good physical method for doing something that he hadn't been able to do before.

One time i had this really cool dream about this beautiful house. In that dream, we were picking someone up from this house. And i just loved the architechture. a couple nights later i gained some consciousness in a dream and remembered that house. I wanted to go find it, so i found it but everything was in black and white. Like it was innactive. then i used my mind to put color back into it. It was an awesome project for a lucid dream.
